Justice League Adventures #26: "Strange Days Part 2"

Guest-starring Adam Strange. Between the nature of the subject matter and the fact that this was the first work I had done for DC from a plot rather than a full script, I really felt I was able to spread my wings and show what I can do more than in previous outings.

Cover Concept #1 and Cover Concept #2: Normally, I wouldn't bother to add color to a concept sketch like this, but in this case, the color was going to be very important in tying the design together. The "windows" formed by the negative space between Adam Strange's chest straps showed the four Justice League members in the cliff-hanger situations they were left in at the end of the previous issue. Version #2 is very similar, but reflects changes requested by the editor, showing the heroes in more action-oriented situations from later in the story.
